General Questions

Yes — completely free, no commitment required. We review your case, give you an honest assessment of your chances, and explain your best options. You only pay if you decide to move forward with our paid services.
Everything is done remotely via WhatsApp. You share your profile details, destination country, and any documents relevant to your situation. We review them and provide a clear, honest recommendation — usually the same day.
Our consultant Mr Atta is based between Alexandria, USA and Jakarta, Indonesia. We operate 100% online and serve Pakistani clients anywhere in the world. Working hours are Mon–Sat 10am–8pm Pakistan Time (PKT).
No — and any consultant who does is being dishonest with you. Visa decisions are made solely by the embassy or immigration authority. What we do is strengthen your application through honest preparation, thorough documentation, and accurate advice. We will not take a fee for a case we do not believe in.
No. Shaheen Visa Consultancy provides visa guidance and consultancy services — not legal advice or legal representation. If you require formal legal representation, you should consult a qualified immigration lawyer or solicitor in your jurisdiction. We are always transparent about this.

The most common reasons are: insufficient or inconsistent bank statements, failure to demonstrate strong ties to Pakistan (job, property, family), unclear travel purpose, incomplete documentation, and previous refusals not properly addressed. All of these are fixable with the right preparation.
There is no fixed minimum set by UK Visas & Immigration. The amount needed depends on your trip duration, accommodation arrangements, and individual circumstances. What matters more than the total amount is the consistency and source of funds over the past 3–6 months. Large sudden deposits shortly before applying are a red flag. Book a free case analysis and we will give you specific guidance for your situation.
Yes — but it becomes more challenging. You need to demonstrate clear ties to Pakistan (family, property, business, other obligations), sufficient funds with a clear source, and a credible reason to return. Students, business owners, and retired applicants can still apply, but the application needs careful construction. Contact us for specific guidance on your profile.
As of 8 April 2026, the UK Standard Visitor visa fee is GBP 135 for a 6-month visa, GBP 506 for 2 years, GBP 903 for 5 years, and GBP 1,128 for 10 years. These are the official UKVI government fees paid directly to UK Visas & Immigration — separate from any Shaheen Visa service fee. Always verify current fees at the GOV.UK official website before applying.
Generally speaking, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka have more straightforward eVisa processes. UAE and Saudi Arabia are also relatively accessible. Western countries (UK, USA, Schengen, Canada, Australia) require stronger profiles but are absolutely achievable with proper preparation. "Easiest" is always relative to your individual profile — what works for one applicant may not work for another.

Study Visa Questions

The terms are used interchangeably. In the UK it is called a Student visa (not Tier 4 — that name was retired). In Canada it is a Study Permit. In the USA it is an F-1 visa. Australia calls it a Student visa subclass 500. Germany issues a National Visa D for study. We cover all of these under our study visa consultancy service.
Yes — in most countries you need a conditional or unconditional offer from an institution (a CAS in the UK, Letter of Acceptance in Canada, I-20 in the USA, CoE in Australia) before you can apply for a study visa. We can advise you on the full sequence of steps including the university/college application process.
No. IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) ended the Student Direct Stream (SDS) and the Non-SDS stream on 8 November 2024. All Pakistani students now apply through the standard study permit process. Current study permit fee is CAD 150 plus CAD 85 biometrics where required. Be cautious of any consultant still referencing SDS — it is no longer an active pathway.
It depends on the country and institution. Many destinations assess financial capacity, language ability, and genuine intent more heavily than grades alone for certain programmes. Your SOP (Statement of Purpose) also plays a major role in explaining any academic gaps. Book a free case analysis and we will give you an honest picture of your actual options.
The Genuine Student (GS) requirement replaced the older Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirement for Australia student visa applications lodged from 23 March 2024 onwards. Under GS, applicants must demonstrate they are genuinely seeking to study in Australia and that the course is consistent with their study and career goals. It is assessed holistically, not through a separate statement. We help applicants prepare documentation that clearly meets the GS standard.

Visa Refusal Questions

Yes — in most cases you can reapply. But reapplying with the same documents and the same approach usually leads to the same result. Our Refusal Recovery service analyses exactly what went wrong, addresses those specific issues, and rebuilds your application strategically before you reapply.
A refusal must be declared on most future visa applications for other countries — particularly the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and Schengen. It does not automatically bar you from applying again, but it does require proper explanation and a stronger application. This is why refusal recovery strategy matters significantly.
There is no mandatory waiting period for most visas — but reapplying too quickly without addressing the refusal reasons is counterproductive and wastes your fee. The right time to reapply depends on what went wrong and how quickly those issues can meaningfully be resolved. Contact us with your refusal letter and we will give you an honest recommendation.

Documents & Preparation

Embassies typically want to see 3–6 months of bank statements. That means your financial preparation should ideally begin at least 3–6 months before your planned application date. Large sudden deposits shortly before application are a red flag and can lead to refusal. Planning ahead is essential.
A cover letter (also called a personal letter or application letter) explains your purpose of travel, ties to Pakistan, financial situation, and intent to return. It is not always mandatory but is highly recommended — especially for UK, Canada, and Schengen applications. A well-written cover letter can make a significant difference to your outcome.
Self-employed applicants face more scrutiny because their income is harder to verify through payslips alone. However, with the right documents — NTN/tax returns, business registration, 6-month bank statements showing consistent business income, and a strong cover letter — self-employed profiles can absolutely be approved. We prepare many successful self-employed applications. Book a free case analysis for your specific situation.

Our Process

Our document preparation and application review typically takes 3–10 working days depending on case complexity and how quickly you can provide documents. Embassy processing times vary significantly by country — we will give you current estimates when reviewing your case. Urgent processing may be available for some destinations.
Yes — for visas that require an interview (such as the USA B-2 or F-1 visa), we provide interview preparation as part of our service. This includes likely questions, how to answer them confidently, what to bring to your appointment, and what to avoid saying. For our Full Study Visa Support, interview prep is included as standard.
No. Shaheen Visa Consultancy operates 100% online. All communication, document review, and guidance happens via WhatsApp and email. You never need to visit us in person anywhere. However, you will still need to personally attend a visa application centre (VFS, BLS, TLS, or ASC) for biometric submission, and some countries require a personal interview at the embassy — these steps are done by you directly as the applicant.
