From Lahore to Alexandria — by way of Jakarta

I grew up in Lahore. I watched people around me, relatives, neighbours, people from the same street, spend their savings on visa applications that went nowhere. Not because they were bad candidates. Because they were given bad advice, rushed into weak submissions, or misled by agents who took money first and asked questions later.

That pattern stayed with me. When I eventually went through my own visa process, including a refusal that I had not expected, I understood from the inside what it actually feels like. The uncertainty. The embarrassment of explaining it to family. The frustration of not knowing what you got wrong. And then the work of figuring it out, correcting it, and trying again properly.

That experience is the reason Shaheen Visa exists. Not to be another agent with confident promises. But to be the person who sits with you, tells you the truth about your application, and helps you build something that actually stands up.

Why I Take This Seriously

I have lived and worked across three countries — Pakistan, Indonesia, and the United States — and today I split my time between Alexandria, USA and Jakarta, Indonesia. Each move involved documentation, immigration processes, and the specific challenges that come with a Pakistani passport. I am not working from theory. I know what these processes actually demand, where Pakistani applicants specifically tend to get tripped up, and how a single weak document or poorly explained gap can derail an otherwise credible application.

• Grew up in Lahore. Watched the damage dishonest agents caused to people in my own circle long before I worked in this field.
• Started helping family and contacts with documentation. Not as a business, but because the guidance they were getting elsewhere was wrong.
• Lived and worked in Jakarta — and still keep a base there today. Navigated immigration and cross-border documentation as a Pakistani national, not just on paper.
• Now based between Alexandria, USA and Jakarta, Indonesia. Running Shaheen Visa full-time, serving Pakistani clients online, and treating every case the way I would want my own handled.

How I Work

I review the actual documents. I ask the uncomfortable questions. If your bank statement is thin, I tell you. If your travel history is weak, I explain what that means for your specific application and what can realistically be done about it, if anything. If your case is not ready, I say that before you pay, not after.
